Revell whaler Charles W. Morgan 1/110
Hello all,
I'd like to present my Revell Charles W. Morgan. I read a lot about this model on the dedicated modeling sites before starting. Wrong sailplan, wrong colours... I just started building and painting according to my vision of a nice boat.
Very out of the box, did most of the rigging but not all - a bit lasy and lack of time.
To my suprise this model is very much liked in my household and has conquered a firm place in the living! All my other poor ships, planes, helicopters and trains in my man-cave are a little jealous..

Ships are always popular at home. They seem to transcend all those nasty shooty tanks and planes.

Always loved the Morgan, when we were kids my parents took us more than once to Mystic Seaprt, Connecticut where the CWM was the main attraction. I had a real whaling/ wood ship kick then too. Your model looks great.
Well done, finishing a traditional sailing ship!

It's very attractive, Maurits, both to modellers and non-modellers alike, and would grace anybody's living room. Let's see what happens when it comes to the time to dust it!
