Thanks Again, iModeler!

Hello! Last year I won the random drawing for May, and the new tooling BF-109e-4 by Airfix was my prize. I didn’t just want to take a prize and have it sit in my stash because that would seem a bit ungrateful, so as soon as I could, I got started on it and chipped away at it, little by little. End result is as posted. It was a fun kit to build, and a fun kit to paint with my new SOTAR 20/20. I could still use a bit more practice with it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Here it is displayed on a base made by my 9 year old son (who also has a passion for this hobby!)

Thanks again iModeler!

  1. Beautifully finished and photographed, Ramon (I especially like the belly shot – exquisite detailing work) – and kudos to your son on that base…nice job. I see you used EZ-line for the antenna wire [ works pretty good, don’t it ] 🙂

  2. Excellent Emil. Well done!

  7. Nicely done, Ramon. I don’t recognise the markings per se, but it looks like it ticks all the ‘109 boxes’.

  8. Excellent work Ramon, really convincing build and finish. I like the overall tone you’ve achieved, looks very much ‘to scale’.
