Esci 1/72 m-113
This is an oldie picked this up from an estate sale. Despite the kit’s age, it built up pretty well. I thought it would be a quick little project until I dawned on me that the interior would be visible and require painting and weathering. It lacked some details, the instructions were a little vague, and the decals silvered a bit. Still, it was a nice way to add an iconic vehicle to the inventory.

These Esci-s were little gems as I recall. Even today I prefer an Esci Opel blitz over an Airfix one in 1:72. Nice build! 😉

Nice build, Dennis….looks as good as the venerable 35th Tamiya offering.

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Not only does this model looks good as the Tamiya offering as Craig say’s, it looks so much LIKE it. You did a wonderful job on it Dennis, I do expect to see it forming part of a diorama.

Esci used to make some nice kits, and this is obviously one of them, glad you enjoyed it.

Nice work! Last ESCI kit I built was a Tornado IDS, and I actually wish I had a few more ESCI kits in my stash, as it built into a nice model.
