Eastern Front Field Briefing
German Soldiers at a Field Briefing. I very much enjoyed this little kit of figures from Tamiya. I plan to expand on this Eastern Front Theme by adding a Tiger Tank in winter Whitewash with a Crew in winter camo in back of this field briefing.

Thanks Bob, I am trying to get better every time. I have a few big ideas after I can get just a bit better on some shading and the faces.

Yeah, those’ll look really good set in a nice tank diorama. I hope that guy in the gray overcoat is befriending the shepard and not doing what it looks like he’s doing. 🙁

And what does it look like he is doing?

Come now, John….surely you don’t need a description (look again at the pose) – besides, it was a tongue-in-cheek observation. 🙂

To me it looks like the soldier is resting in a squat and may have been, or about to, pet the dog.

Yeah…..pet the dog – that’s it. A word of advice if you will; when/if you incorporate those two figures into your diorama, position the two closer together to avoid any further misconception(s).
I guess my warped sense of humor escapes some folks.
Looking forward to more of your excellent work, John. Figure painting is definitely NOT my forte.
