35th Scale Zundapp K500

September 9, 2015 · in Figures · · 11 · 5.4K

I've been tinkering with another long forgotten stash refugee, Vulcan's K500. I made some new cylinder barrels for it and added individual tread blocks because the laminated assembly process wasn't distinct enough for me. The supplied rider figure wasn't up to much so he has been replaced by a figure which has been modified and given a Hornet head.

I added the cap from the Tamiya set and increased the definition of the goggles with a scalpel before adding a foil strap.

Rob.

  6. Robert, speaking as a motorcycle fan, and having made a few 1/12 kits, this is really great work, brilliant attention to detail (individual tread blocks!), and all in 1/35 scale, fantastic.

  7. Beautiful piece of work! Figure looks realistic, finish and weathering outstanding.

  8. Nice work. I did the version with the sidecar and then turned it into a steampunk ride, armoured-up. It's listed on this site somewhere.
