I think that they are not better than the Airfix
Revell his last 15+ kit have lot of mistakes and Issues
and they are not easy to build a lot of putty and patience.
More on this will be but said specialists England in future.

Well with two 1/72 new Shackleton kits arriving within weeks from each other, this is goint to ba en interesting comparison. I personally wouldn’t write off the Revell kit from the outset, it certainly looks very nice on the sprues!

Who would’ve thought a few years ago that Airfix and Revell would be fighting for a top spot in model kits..?? Those “other” companies better step up, huh..?

I was thinking that the Revell Shack was gonna be a Mk III, with nosewheel. Looks like a modular forward fuselage, so maybe later, if this sells.
Battle of the Shackletons! Who would have thought?

I haven’t seen such a “kit parade” since the early ’90s (and after the 2000s some people written off the hobby). I’m happy that our hobby seems in good shape anyway and I’m with Martin’s opinion that some kind of “golden age” comes :))))) And two Shacklatons in one time in the same scale? Crazy!!!

I guess we’ll have to get the weenies from The World Greatest Modeling Site in the Northern Hemisphere to tell us what the fatal flaws are here they have been harping about the past month.
