It is just for interesting. I made this kit about nearly 20 years ago when we received a sample from AllianceModels at Model and Maquette Magazine (long defunct sadly). These kits were fairly rare even when they released (and not too high quality frankly) made of resin and vacform. As You can see the canopy yellowed during the years. As in the '90S there weren't as much information (internet just began to raise in Hungary) I made the model based on the little information I have so that's why the matt colour. The type is rarely seen so I add this for some diversity 馃檪 Cheers!
Very unusual subject - had to look it up to read more about it. Even though it was an obviously simple kit, your staging of it helps dress it up and makes in an interesting subject. Thanks for pulling this out of the "archives!"
Thank You! Yes the kit was so simple that basically the small parts fit only into the dustbin. The interior, the main wheel legs, wheel doors are scrath. The wheels come from an old KP Mig-19, the nose wheel a PM Ta-183 kit. The exhaust is made from a brass tube. The resin was full of bubbles and tha casting was quite uneven as I recall so lot of primeing and sanding was necessary. As You see I painted the wheel wells simply black as I had no any photographic or other material on hand. The entire kit consists of some 15-20 pieces + the scraching...
An obscure subject to be sure...definitely a new one on me. Obviously a jet, but the air intake seems to rather "obscure" as well. What gives?
It's like a big grin 馃檪 The original wasdesigned by Emile Dewoitine as I recall, but the performance was very poor so the development stopped. The next - Pulqui II - designed by Kurt Tank was much better. Those were must be interesting times 馃檪 Both famous guys have enough "free time" to draw aeroplanes far from Europe 馃榾
Rarely seen? You can say that again! Seriously, though, an interesting piece of aircraft and modelling history.
