I'm really impressed with this kit, Revell have done us proud for the cost. Okay I have thrown a few extra at it that tripped the price but I'm really happy with the way she turned out. My first time using camo masks and I really must thank Sean Middleton who supplied me with the masks and quite a bit of help in using them. I really can recommend them, so much easier than Whitetac 'worms'.
The EagleCal decals were on the thick side and need a few coats of Mr Mark Softener to get them to pull down.

Never tried those "camo masks", but they sure look like they worked! And a 32nd scale build to boot. Must have seemed gargantuan compared to what you're used to, huh?
I tend to alternate between 1:72 and 1:32 or even have a build of both scales on the go 🙂

Michelle, come over to the dark side. 1/48th. Think happy medium. Single seat fighters. Your eyes are getting heavy...
I used to build exclusively in 1:48 and switched to 1:72 to save on storage space, but like 1:32 as you get more bang for your buck

Outstanding job on an outstanding kit. Would like to know what you did to convert it back to a Mk.I aside from leaving off the Coffman starter bulge (did you have to scribe the small hatch for the trolly accumulator?). I would also like too know what extras you used and how well they worked. Also, did you use the camouflage masks from AML? I used them on my 1/32 Spitfire and they worked beautifully. Once again, nice work

Very nice model, love all grime and the faded colours. All yellow markings and spinner makes this an eye catcher.

I do find it easier and I think there is a lot of good value 1:32 kits out there. There is also some very expensive, albeit good ones as well 🙂

Nice job, Michelle! Perfect paint work. I'm about 75% done with one right now. It is a fun kit. I've added the Barracuda seat/armor, ailerons, radiator, oil cooler, some Eduard brass. I normally build in 1/48 and don't add all these extras but like you, thought this kit was worth it. I hope to post mine in a week or two. Again, nice work and thanks for sharing.
Thanks, yes used the barracuda seat and oil cooler, was going to use the door as well but modified the kit part and saved the door for another build. Some Eduard in there as well, but not as much as some people have used. I also used the Eduard Brassin wheels.
I forgot that I've also got the Barracuda wheels! Again, nice work.
