WW1 dio plane’s

These just arrived from Hong Kong they are very tiny and look like their going to be fun to build.

More to follow as i progress slowly one Fokker DR1 will be Rittm.Manfred von Richthofen, 152/17, JG1 March 1918

the other DR1 will be Ltn. Joseph Jacobs,450/17, Jasta 7, May 1918

The Spads will be

1 as Escadrille GC.13/SPA.65, Lt. Charles Nungesser, September 1918

2 will be 94th aero squadron. Cpt. Edward Vernon Rickenbacker, summer 1918

These planes also include photo etch in 1/144 kinda cool

  5. 1/144th Photo-Etch...? You gotta be kidding! That's gonna be a bigger PITA than the rigging (maybe)...lol

    And yes photo etch will take pics when i start in next day or 2

  7. 1/144? Vincent you're a better man than me to try such models in that scale. Are you planning on hand painting or airbrushing?

  8. Vince, Roy Brown told somebody interviewing him it was a vermillion red. I can't remember where I saw that, but it stuck.
