1:48 Scale Tamiya, F4U-1, "Corsair"

's in 1:48 scale is a beautiful model, that pretty much builds itself. Fit and finish of the parts is awesome, and the only issue I have found with building these kits, is with building the wing deployed. You MUST be careful of that seam at the wing fold.

Enjoyable build, good detail throughout...wings folded or not... Here are the pictures, and a little more about the model. Thank you for reading my post!

“White 34”, was an F4U-1, “” assigned to Marine Fighting Squadron, Two-Fifteen, (VMF-215). It was flown by 1st Lt Donald N. Aldrich, from Torokina, in the Solomon Islands, during January, 1944. Lt. Aldrich would be credited with shooting down twenty Japanese aircraft
