Moson 2016 – My Personal Highlights
After Martin did all the historian's work, here comes my personal selection of Moson 2016's best in show models. It's sunny and friendly down here and if you have nothing better to do in spring 2017, come to Moson.
Arrrrrrr, yes, there was some armor somewhere.

Simply gorgeous selections, sir...amazing craftsmanship displayed. Thanks.
Nice to see someone else's personal selection of favorites, there are some models here that I must have missed entirely, all of them very nice.
But especially - it's been so cool to meet up with you and a whole group of iModelers in Moson! I hope this can be repeated next year
That Flanker is amazing! I was going to build one in 1/32 but decided that 1/48 is probably a more sensible scale for a jet of that size. I've got the Eduard Su-27 twin seater sat in the cupboard, looking forward to building it now. I'll be happy if it looks half as good as that one though!
They are all stunning builds mind!
I'm gearing myself up for the Trumpeter 1/32 Flanker G in a couple of months. Will need a bigger house...
I'm glad You like it. But be prepaired for some seroius grafting... 🙂 Took me a whole year to finish it. Don't be afraid to ask some questions...
Cheers, Grega. I'm currently building a large wooden ship model on commission (since February) and still have a couple of months work before I can get anywhere near the Flanker, but I'll keep your offer in mind.
No problem Rob.
You're obviously having a good time, glad you included that Javelin, definitely my favourite so far!
I do agree, George!
The model stood out from all the others in its surrounding and one got attracted by it from a distance.
Thanks for posting, Halvar. A great selection.
That Viggen is incredible (as the other builds are as well), this one just very impressive.
I'm very impressed by weathering on models presented in Moson. Your report gives a good overview of it.
