Not a very good picture (the wife isn’t a photographer) – I sure got this fast, though. A big thank you to the iModeler staff for their consideration. It’s much appreciated.

I am sure that you will do your best Craig.
Be interesting to how you rattle can her though ?
I’ve rattled canned camouflage schemes on similar sized models….I’ll figure it out with some Yankee ingenuity. Thanks, Simon.
I am sure you will Craig, no doubt about that sir.
Thank you for that vote of confidence, sir. 🙂

I hope to see that soon on the site…..go man.
Dunno ’bout “soon”, Jack…lotsa things goin’ on that get in the way of modelin’ lately. Thanks.

So, that’s you out of the P-40 eh? Your pic isn’t quite as bad as mine was. So, does this put your stash over the “one” mark?
Sorta, Bill….it’s the only “new” one I got right now. The 4 or 5 others are in bags or various forms of completion. I don’t get the P-40 reference….what am I missing?
For some reason, I always thought in your avatar you were sitting in a P-40 N, now it looks like a T-6? Sorry.
Yep….a Texan (went for a flight 3 different times …
“stick time” AND aerobatics – 1 hr. ea.).
Brett Green’s avatar on HS is a P-40 ain’t it?

Congrats again on the award. Re B17 sadly thats all thats left of it as it met with an accident. But i have another in the stash. It was to be ‘a bit O lace’ . Thanks again for the support on the b2.
Craig Abrahamson said on May 21, 2016
A shame to scrap it, Anthony…..perhaps you could get whatever parts you need from Revell or a fellow modeler in a similar situation.
George Williams said on May 20, 2016
Congrats again, Craig, get that box open and make a start, we’re all waiting to see the result.
Thanks, George….I’ll “git ‘er done” sooner or later. 🙁

Craig, it’s an E-1, and you can do it in 70/71 splinter uppers, without the high side undersurface blue 65 that came later. Or a Spanish Civil war 02 gray with the same underside color, again with the upper/lower demarcation low down on the fuselage side.
Sounds a lot easier than trying to do a mottled scheme in that scale, don’t it…? Thanks for the tip, Bernard.

Craig! Craig Craig! Always blame the camera. Not the wife….
I am sure you are enjoying your peanut butter sandwich dinner as you read this.. OK I’m just kidding. You have chosen well as they say in the movies.
I am really looking forward to your build. Have fun.
First, the wife doesn’t look at iModeler. Second, I can (and usually do) make my OWN meals. And lastly, I shall have a little fun building my model – I only hope I also have a little success.
You’ll do great buddy.

You will enjoy that one Craig, that’s a wonderful kit. Congrat’s My Friend !
Thank you, Terry…
Morne Meyer said on May 21, 2016
Enjoy it Craig. A superb kit with lots of goodies to keep you entertained.
Thanks, Morne (I fondled the plastic and there DID seem to be a lot of parts and pieces for a rather small kit). 🙂
