1- An original Revell 1/48? stake truck which my uncle gave me way back around 1964, along with others that didn't survive. Some how I could never throw this out.
2- My oldest IMC 1/72 Skyhawk, which originally was built with the battle damage option,I later rebuilt it, it dates back to the1970s.
3- Astronaut from Monograms 1/48 L.E.M. 1970s

  1. Good thing I don't have all the models I'VE ever built (although I'd sure LIKE to have 'em all)...I'd have to add on to the house. 🙁

  2. 🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Nice short trip through memory lane Robert, you brought back some times and builds to recall ... thank you ... 🙂 .

  3. very nice Robert - love the Chevy!

  4. I've got a couple of those IMC battle damaged kits - a Skyraider and an F-105. Skyraider is in the on-deck circle, going to be a Korean War version. Also reminds me of the first IMC F-105 I build as a kid... memories!

  5. Thanks for sharing these, Robert.

  6. Greg, they're baaaack! I saw some in the local hobby shop the other day, in packages of two, from Lindberg. In addition to them rererereleasing their own kits, they apparently picked up the ol' IMC battle damage kits, too.
You can reexperience your yut', and stuff.

  7. Robert, the truck is 1/40th, which Revell had for a number of vehicles and their military stuff . There was a pickup, and a Bekins moving tractor-trailer, and a cabover tractor with fuel tank, and a KW conventional tractor with a flatbed with an Honest John crated missile on it. Most of the ones I've seen did not have windshields or windows. Once in a while, they get reissued, like that Nike Ajax with launcher a couple of years ago.

Their missiles supposedly were not successes. I always wanted the Talos and Terrier, myself. Oh, well!

  8. Robert, Uncle Bernie lives in hope! Lindbergs Snark with launcher is back, as is the 32nd Terracruiser and Mace.
