Boeing 720, Pan Am ,Revell

October 8, 2016 · in Aviation · · 19 · 2.6K

What an airliner used to look like, Saved from the shelf of doom, this actually started out as a E-3A AWAC from a 1980's kit, I had ideas of converting it to a tanker, this was before the current Minicraft and Roden kits. Its supposed to be a closer to 720 than a or a E-3. I got as far as building it and priming. but then I lost interest.

Fast forward, Inspired by an old Bond movie,Where he arrives on a Pan Am flight, I decided to finish it using left over ATP Pan Am and micro scale window decals. The scale of the kit is supposedly closer to 1/139.

Just as clean as clean can be, love it Robert. The setting for these pictures are just great and speak well of your resourcefulness. Makes one go back to those times in an airport. Thanks for sharing the pictures, very nicely done.
