Revell 727 Southern Air Transport, 1/144
Revells’ 727 done in the livery of Southern Air Transport airline as a 727C cargo version. They supposedly did air cargo drops out the rear air stairs. I believe they are out of business now, but I do remember seeing their C-130s back in the eighties. The kit as you can tell is an old one, lots of rivets, had to fill the recessed windows, used a mix of home made and leftover decals. This is actually the 1964 issue, I don’t think the kit was worth much as a collectors item, as Revell has reissued it recently.

The “revelling” base! You could supposedly buy one seperately, though I never saw one, myself.
And to a recognizable scale, not the fit-the-box scale, whatever that was.
Nice job!

Great job on this rather old kit. Maybe outdated but looks the part.
These early jet airlines look much more elegant than the current wide body types.
Lovely Boeing, well done, Robert !

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Very nice work on that model Robert. Clean and sharp, actually it looks like a model one could expect to see in a Travel Agency.

Nice job Sir !!! I really like the picture of the model with the sky and trees in the back ground. Adding a photo of the real plane was a nice touch too………….
