  3. Nice work Dmitry

  4. Beautiful job, nice stand.

  5. Nicely presented...I like that.

  6. Great looking model! I've secured a couple of Amodel models but haven't yet put them together - thanks for the warning!

  7. Sirs, thank you for that paid attention to my model. It is always very pleasant. If someone of you will to build Amodal, I advise you to buy more putty. And you'll need a lot of patience.

  8. Dmitry, it looks flawless to me. Plus, I've never seen an LI-2 built. Looks like a DC-3, then you start to notice the changes. Beautiful work.
"Buy more putty!" Not only good advice, but hilarious!

    • The main differences from the DC-3: a smaller wing span, there is a door on the right side and some other engines.
Amodel - one of the few companies who makes model at low pressure. Add to that poorly fitted to each other details and you will get a few weeks fun working with a file, putty, curses, etc.)))))))

  9. Nice work indeed! Does this plane use the same engines as the Polikarpov I-15 and I-16 fighters ? Looks like a very similar arrangement on the front of the engines. Or was that to allow the engines to warm up during the cold winters?

    • You are absolutely right. On the Li-2 used the same engine as on I-16 type 18. Ie is the engine M-62 Shvetsova. System warming up the engines on the Li-2 was very time consuming and uses a lamp. After landing, the flight engineer and the technician wrapped the motors with special material to keep warm. On the engines to adjust the temperature stood shutters.

  10. Very neat work, Dmitry, you can't see where all that putty went!

  11. Excellent, Dmitry! What a good job of an interesting aircraft!
