Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (Bandai 1/500)

To saying truth is a very good model, but he does have several mistakes in the structure and many details are absent, many plastruct improvements in the superstructure, generic photoetch from gold medals models, flyhawk, rainbow and lion roar, decals from gold medals, Veteran Models changed 8 lateral searchlight, it has approximately 600 pieces ...added lights LED.

Painted with enamel, pre shading and weatering pigments Tamiya set B and pastry chalk cretacolor, besides an washing by acrylic black paint, there are more or less 380 working hours in 3 months, the ship measures almost 67 cm length.

  1. Now THERE'S sumthin; ya don't see every day. I didn't even know there WAS a TV series that included such a vessel. Bein' a sc-fi rendition, I don't see how it could be 'wrong', though.

    • This ship is the remake of 2012 ...the original series uchuu senkan yamato of 1974, called in United states starblazers, the kit of Bandai missed in many things and details, because I have the official book of illustrations with takes references.

  6. Can't help but love this one. I have never seen the series, but I reckon that as a model she looks even better than the anime original. 380 working hours is a lot of work, but what a result. Much appreciated together with your other recent postings.
