  1. Don't think I've ever seen a green-colored prop before. I assume you had some reference material?

  2. Very nice well-worn look you achieved on it!

  3. Terrific weathering!

  4. Looks great ! You captured the "look" rather convincingly. Thanks for sharing this with us...

  5. A trick if you're going to do any more Hasegawa Kayates - 1/48 or 1/32 - and you want to have the flaps up is to cut out the interior of the flap well before further assembly, which will let you assemble the flaps fully closed. Hasegawa doesn't really make the flaps work completely right for retracted. The only kits with lowered flaps that can be raised and look right without some minor surgery are the 1/32 P-47s and the 1/32 N1K2-J.

    Nice work on the model.

    • Wow, thanks for your comments Tom. I was trying to depict a plane found a while after the end of hostilities when things may have been drooping a little or bleeding down in modern parlance. It only pops out at you in the pictures & doesn't appear so obvious in real life...Unless you're looking for it of course.
Thanks for your comments & for looking.

  6. nice build and paint
