Model Expo Zeeland Hallen 18/19 February 2017 (Part 2)

February 23, 2017 · in Show Reports · · 15 · 1.6K

Continuation of show report Model and Toy Fair in the "Zeelandhallen"Goes The Netherlands.
Very noticeable, that the average age of participants was well over fifty.
That is a real concern for the near future.
The youngsters on the last two pictures are "hopefully"the future.
Hope you enjoy, and again, I hope you don't mind that all disciplines are included in this show report.
Regards,
Dirk

  1. Amazing work...(love that Voodoo).

  2. Thanks for sharing, Dirk. I always enjoy show pictures. The models look wonderful. I did notice that the camo table cover is about the worst thing to use to display camo models !

    • Hi Terry,
I agree fully. Also the members are in camou. Most of them never served in the Armed Forces. But they are so positive about their hobby. Very friendly people.

  3. Thanks for posting, Dirk. The age gapping issue is commonplace everywhere. The choices between electronic media and static modelling are hard to resolve.

  4. Very nice ! thanks for sharing.

  5. Great display parts 1 and 2 Dirk, they're all models, should be of some interest to everyone, thanks for posting.

  6. It's good to see such a widespread interest in modelling under one roof, it must give newcomers to the hobby a much a wider choice.

  7. Excellent reports, Dirk. Thanks for posting!

    • PS - I know what you mean about youngsters being the future. If we could get them off their phones/I-pads/computers and get them interested in modeling, it would be so much better.

  8. Hi Jeffry,
At this moment a battle that we are losing.
    But lets be positive.
