  1. Another great essay of eclectic photos, Rob...always the highlight of the day.

  2. Windsor Davies, Oh dear ,what a pity ,never it.

  3. Another set of images that just tell a story. Leaping tanks, wild paint jobs, women and children at war. And even when a lull in battle, time for some moments to relieve the reality at hand. All captured with a snap of a camera. good stuff

  4. Rob, you surpass yourself. Horror, sadness, compassion, technical excellence, and a beautiful pair of roundels in no. 35!

  5. I love pic #36 ,those nasty old Germans pinched one of our tanks and we took it back again, what,s the story with the Vulcan front end in the river Rob any idea where it is now that tractor looks fairly modern ,nice collection of pics again.

    • Hi,Neil. Apologies for late reply. Been away and wifi reception v poor. You're right that's a captured Matilda recaptured, but I don't know the back story of the Vulcan on-tow - just struck me as a great photo.

  6. Grunherz FW190As in Winter Camo - I'm getting twitchy and peering at the cupboard...

  7. Really nice pics, thanks again for sharing them with us!
