SBD-3 Dauntless, Battle of Midway (repost)
I posted this project here three-and-a-half years ago, and sometime back Martin indicated it would be OK to add previous project photos when the Midway Group Build went live.
The kit is Trumpeter’s 1/32 offering, with additional scratch detail.

Wow, that’s an excellent build. I think that Trumpeter kit is quite well done and is one of their best kits. My compliments to you on a fine looking model as well as good photography too.

Thanks for reposting this one Rob !!!!! I like everything about this one. The plane, the base, the photography, I mean everything. Absolutely perfect. Thanks again my friend. It fits in with the Midway GB reveal very well…………

Naturally, meant to credit Chuck as principal in the matter; I read your response elsewhere as ‘just a contributor’, but your enthusiasm is also part of its success.

It was a team effort, and I am very pleased with the turnout. The headlines section has been very busy with Midway postings over the last few days. I tend to get enthusiastic with history and aircraft…………….. 🙂 🙂 🙂
we had a very good team which really helped.
