Looks like a shark. I really like the late marks of the 109. Nice work!

A quick question: what is the story regarding the landing gear doors – or lack of doors?
Thanks!
Paulo Castro said on August 7, 2017
Thanks mate! In regards the missing landing gear door. These late war fighters operated in very rough airfields and it was common in the wet season to remove the doors to prevent mud get in between the wheel and doors and get stuck damaging the doors or even could cause an accident during take off or landing.
Cheers

It looks just how a ME 109 should look, great modelling. By the way I’m glad to see that you know how to spell “armoured” correctly……….

Thanks mate! That’s how we spell it here Down Under

Beautiful! There has been a nice rash of 1/72 models posted lately that have been finished in very realistic weathering, and this is no exception – love it!

Very nice! at first glance I thought it was a larger scale. So is it gage or gauge?
Paulo Castro said on August 7, 2017
Very funny!
Thanks for your kind words!
Cheers mate!
PS: It’s gauge

Paulo, Nicely done, very good paint work especially being you had such a small area to work with.
Did I miss the memo on it being 1/72 scale week ?
