2017 A Year in review

I was looking at Rob’s Post, and I actually thought that I built a few models, I actually only built 2…Quite shabby if I must say so.
I was a great year, I tried scratch building, and I really enjoyed making something from scratch.
Thanks to all of you for your amazing comments through the year, you guys really motivated me… So without further ado…

Merry christmas to you all, and a happy modelling 2018.

  2. You said only two but for us is double surprise! you’re motivating me a lot also! please just keep next year always same like this

  3. Inspirational!!!!! Anyone got any plans for an AviaMilano Nibbio 4 seater? I’d love to build one for my brother!!

  4. “Shabby”…? Seein’s how you built two great models from scratch (no easy task) – I’d say that’s a far cry from ‘shabby”, Marc. You da man. Merry Christmas, sir.

  5. Two cracking builds Marc. Seasons greetings and all the best for next year.

  6. I’m with Craig: “Shabby” isn’t the correct adjective – “Fantastic” would be better!

Marc, you said “only two.” Heck, I’m not even going to finish ONE! THAT’S shabby and/or terrible!

Your two scratch-built projects truly are inspirational!

  7. Not the quantity that matters, it’s the quality, and you are a real master at scratch building. 2 models with THAT quality…c’mon it was a great year no matter what

  8. Marc it may have been only two but those two were exceptional builds. I always give high marks to any one that builds something from scratch. And a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you as well.

  9. Ditto on those amazing scratch builds, Merry Christmas!

  10. Very nice, and certainly not shabby. Love the Pilatus! Merry Christmas and happy 2018!

  11. Quite the output considering the input required! I’m amazed at your scratch building skills – you would never know it wasn’t a “shake and bake” kit that has been nicely detailed! Merry Christmas to you and as always, I look forward to your progress reports!

  12. Thanks as always Greg, When are you coming to Cape Town?, Merry Christmas to you and your family mate, all the best.

  13. Merry Christmas Marc. Your yearly builds are something that not everyone could do, especially me. I’m pretty much a right out of the box builder and scratch building a complete plane is out of my league. Excellent work as usual. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  14. Very nice builds of two original subjects.
    Thanks for posting.

  15. Happy holidays, mate! It’s the quality and the enjoyment that matters. Love the Porter!

  16. Amazing work, Marc!
