Good afternoon.

First, I apologize because I can not comment or upload jobs as much as I would like since my work has me very tied. I hope to retire soon and be able to dedicate more time to my hobbies.

This is the second biplanis I build and the truth has been an attentive torment.

All the wiring and its fixation as well as the assembly of the upper wing has given me multiple headaches, but after more than 6 months I begin to see the light is almost ready, I just need to mount a diorama with several figures and the airplane.

The kit is winuts wings, a model of great quality, as only sticks decals are very hard and somewhat brittle but the rest is of great quality and fine detail accompanied by spectacular instructions with multiple illustrations.

    Very nice build Carmelo.

  2. Lovely build Rodrigo
Wingnut kits are truly outstanding, still have my DVa on the pile and often admire the quality of the plastic.
Hope to see a few more from you

  3. Outstanding work, Carmelo. I just know these biplane things would make me crazy in terms of concentration. I also find it difficult to get the time I'd like to build, and retirement is still a long way away. Very well done.

  4. really great job on a great model subject. You really made this WNW model shine and show off how nice they are. Worth every penny! I also built this exact model many moons ago when it first came out.

  9. Carmelo all of the hours you put into this build really appear in the quality of the final model. It is sensational. Congratulations!

  10. This is your second biplane? You're lucky you don't live in my country, where I would take my nice sharp "cleaver' and give you a couple good whacks 2 inches above your wrists. 🙂

    Very. Nice. Work.

It does help that Sir Peter charged them to design kits "a klutz like me can build," making them easy for the rest of us.

  11. WWI not being my forte, but after seeing what can be done with those WNW kits, I'm tempted to try one. Amazing workmanship, sir.

  16. Well Carmelo, you fought ... and WON the battle! This is beautifully done, my friend. I'm glad you stayed with it, despite the problems. It was worth all the trouble.

  17. Wow - I'm ready for you to retire too, so we can see more of your work! In some of those pics, this would easily be mistaken for the real deal! Very nicely done.
