F-15A 8th TFS, 49th TFW Holloman AFB

April 15, 2018 · in Aviation · · 19 · 2.9K

Hi,

I present you my last build out of my workbench today and as for my last F-14 I wanted to represent an F-15A from the early 80s in memory of the olds Monogram models that I assembled in my youth.

This is the 1:72 model of the F-15C with a pilot of the Hasegawa accessory box and RESKIT resin wheels of the F-15A model.
This is the F-15A nmr 760107 of the 8th TFS, 49th TFW Holloman AFB.
The decoration is a mixture Hasegawa and Wolfpack.

I hope it will please you.

Eric from France

Very nice with the grey patches on top, looks realy good.
Brings back some good memories of the 32nd squadron at Soesterberg AB in Holland, as they where flying F-15's during my airforce time there.

  19. I was one of the assistant crew chiefs on the original Holloman Eagle model that came out around 78. My name was the only name that was spelled correctly in the decals.. I have the model, but need a new decal sheet..
