  1. Some definite imagination and talent displayed there.

  2. Love the two 'Lady Liberty' builds, especially the original ending to 'Planet of the Apes'.
"You finally really did it. You maniacs! You blew it up! God damn you! God damn you all to hell!"

    Timeless, literally.

  3. A "critical mass" of creativity and congratulations to all (from an actual s-f writer).

    However...

19 and # 20 blow # 21 off the beach and into the ocean, for creativity and contemporary symbolism. That's not a put-down of #21, which is a nice rendition of someone else's creative step forward, but 19 and 20 are completely original, and given the planetary crisis we face as a species, this diorama is far more profound.

  4. Good points well made, Tom. As a life-long movie buff, though, I'm still with Chuck Heston. Amazing builds, all - I love the creativity the Sci-fi builders (literally) bring to the table.

  5. I think the vehicle in main photo may have won best in show. I've certainly seen it on two or three other sites previously. The fish is from Industria Mechanika and something I was interested in a while back but the posting charges from US were prohibitive for some reason.

Also came across this FB Moson link, so apologies to those who don’t/can’t get FB. Not sure but there may be some duplication with Martin’s posts.

  6. It's a gorgeous fish, Rob. I had a similar experience with a 1/35 'Time Machine' from the original George Pal movie. The model itself was just over $100 but postage was just silly.

  7. The vehicle on the main and the first three pics called "Steampunk Tesla" and as I recall completely scratchbuilt. It's just stunning!
