  1. Stunning build. sir...any background on the kit would be welcome (as are you).

  2. Thank you for your praise.
I am very happy that you like my model.
    My name is Thomas Slopianka.

  3. What a fantastic subject. You did an amazing job on it. Did this beast actually exist?

  4. Really great model. Congratulations!

  5. Great looking piece of armor! I've never seen a twin flak gun like this - I'm also curious if it really existed. (of course - I'm not an armor guy...!)

    • Greg, this Flak really did exist - the combination with the E-100 not so much. Amongst other uses, they were placed on the "Flaktürme" (Flak towers), huge concrete structures built in Vienna, Berlin and Hamburg.
Here in Vienna they could not quite figure out how to get rid of these towers, so they are still standing today - one of them housing a maritime zoo 😀

  6. Stunning build! That looks like a mean gun!

  7. really nice model of a very unique subject matter. Excellent attention to details.

  8. VERY interesting subject, Thomas. Your build is excellent and VERY well done. I was wondering which chassis it was installed on, but then I saw it in the title. Quite a beast of a machine, had the E-100 progressed past the experimental stage and gone into production. They certainly liked BIG machines! If one 12.8cm gun is good, then TWO together would be better! Zwillinge!

    Welcome to iModeler!

  9. Thank you for the praise and the friendly reception.
I will certainly build more models of this kind.

  10. Thanks for sharing this, Thomas. It's a beautifully clean build.
