Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!

June 15, 2018 · in News · · 22 · 1.7K

Well, it's Friday, the sun is shining, the work is done, there's modeling to be done, and I came home to a nice new T-shirt.

Go on, buy one, you know you want to.

  1. I do...I did...(nice room, David) - 🙂

    • Ah, Craig, where would this site be without you? As regards the room, it is intimately correlated with my sanity, the more time I'm in here, the happier I am.
Cheers, Craig - hope you have a good weekend.

  2. Yeah mate, I'm joining the frenzy. My Hoodie and 3 T-shirts arrived yesterday!

  3. Never knew you guys were such fashionistas: Martin has a lot to answer for...

  4. Yep. Modeling is where it's at, Rob. Anyone else?

  5. What they said...

  6. All I can say is I just love that Jack Nicholson grin...!

  7. Here's Johnny...

Greg's fault. My wife frequently mentions that there's a passing resemblance to Mr. Nicholson (whether that's looks or personality in the Shining, I'm not sure).

  8. Nice workroom, David! ( @dirtylittlefokker )

Is there a Gibson to go with that Marshall? ( ... Or a Fender or something similar?) We have a couple radio-show comics who broadcast from here in Indy - the Bob & Tom Show. One of their comedy skits also had a fellow who portrayed an English hard rocker who always ended his part by saying "If you don't play Gibson and Marshall - you're a wanker!" That's not a common word here (wanker) so I had a lot of fun telling folks what he meant! LoL!

    • Jeff, there's a guitar stash that almost rivals the plastic. Gibson and Marshall- like bacon and eggs, Gardiner and Grumman.
Hope you have a great weekend, Jeff; was fantastic to talk to you last night.

  9. Looking good! Where's the matching coffee mug?

    • Right here, Gary. World Cup of 'soccer' on and breakfast cooking. Happy days.

  10. Looks like it's going to be a good weekend...

  11. Fashionistas? ...these T-shirts are statements of fact. Cogito ergo sum. (I think; therefore I am.) , I model therefore I be... I modeler. Wear the merch with pride Jack er David.

Now if the T-shirts came in Pink... there was a IBM saying back in the day about male employees wearing "pink" button down shirts with ties and a Jacket; "Our you man enough to wear "Pink"? Now days anything goes but, wearing a T-shirt... the kind that folks have to read that requires thought now thats a statement. Better than listening to talking heads on the Telly.

  12. Latin, philosophy, and social commentary all in one post; Stephen (@stephen-w-towle) you are my kind of modeler.
