Thank you for posting the photos Rob. My Aunt served in WWII as a Nurse in France. Never spoke about it like, all Vets. Unfortunately, she passed with out anyone recording or writing down her history.
Neat photo of the Grumman pilot. I have read and watched documentaries about WASP’s flying in the states. One commented that a P-40 was just a plane, a P-47 was a fighter. British female pilots all agreed that naturally the Spitfire was/is the end all to beat all.
