1/32 Eduard P-40N Warhawk “Lulu Belle”

July 28, 2018 · in Aviation · · 16 · 4.5K

This is ( sprues) P-40N finished with the markings of famous Lulu Belle
No need to after market additions due to Eduard's Profipack contents like resin wheels, exhausts, PE instrument panel parts and kabuki tape masks except for the decals. I have used corrected Fundekals set.
Painting done with Gunze acrylics.
Additionnally
I have deleted recognition light under the starboard rear wing fillet .
I added three recognition lights to the underside of the rear fuselage.

Happy Modelling

  1. Excellent work as usual Tolga. You just have to love the P-40, especially one with nifty nose art.

    • Thanks Tom,
Yes P-40 is one of my favourite WWII birds. And I can say that there are at least four P-40Ns to be built in my 1/32 scale list.( like Klawin Kitten, White 49, White 61 and 21 etc)

  2. Very nice build, Tolga...your work is always top-notch. Nice to see you back again.

  3. Tolga,

There is a saying in the states, in general..."you've done everything but, the kitchen sink."

    Where is the oil pan?

There is the Spanish School of painting, we need to come up with a new term here. The Turkish School of painting. Painting models with a balanced, subtle and slightly used look of having been in theater for a few weeks.

Another strong piece of work Tolga. You have my vote.

  4. Another standard-issue Tolga masterpiece.

  5. Thanks for the comments.

  6. Very nice work. P-40s are so cool and you’ve done a masterful job on this one.

  7. Really, really nice! And some very sharp, crisp pics. Great job.

  8. Beauty. Usual high standard of craftsmanship and presentation.

  9. Nice job, Tolga. Very good paintwork.

  10. I think that this is one of my most favorite air craft. You have done it a grand job.

  11. That's just stunning!

  12. Another beauty Tolga! Love the perfect balance of weathering you achieve on your builds.

  13. Outstanding work!

  14. Hello! I like your build! What brand of Olive drab paint did you use?
