De Havilland Tiger Moth, 1/72, Airfix
Well, this is an special kit for me.
Last year, when I just entered in this group, I suddenly won the 'Random Award' with my little Junker's D-1. the Beginner's luck!
It was so hard select a prize kit and I selected big boy, Airfix's new tool 1/72 DC-3. Martin sent me this with international shipment from UK to South Korea. But for my fault it went to back to UK and Martin helps me a lot to fix this thing alright.
Finally I got my DC-3 which flied all over the planet but wait, there was more..!
Martin kindly put this 1/72 DH Tiger moth in addition even this delaying was my fault. I really appreciate to imodeler and here put my complete model of this small surprising gift!
I usually paint free custom scheme for the kit I received for gift. this time I wrap it with my own made decal printed with office laser print. the paisley pattern is my favorite. and I added some nose art girl decals from my unused decal stash.
I really enjoyed this built. I wish I have a Tiger Moth too in my garage. maybe, one day.
So big DC-3 Dakota is still left for me. I think I'll make it with custom paint scheme to.

Hongseob, The one thing I enjoy on imodeler is getting a chance to not only see a long list of nice builds, but to also see the creativity exhibited by my fellow model builders. This is a good example of that. I have to admit this is not a scheme I would have ever dreamed of (even if I were on drugs in the 1960s), but its well done, and very attractive !
Now that is an awesome model. What a great job u did and in such a small scale. So creative and unique, stunning. Love to see unique subjects and different takes on a subject.
Wow - what an eye-catcher! Though it's easy to get distracted by that wild scheme, you can tell the build is done to excellent standards. Very nice.
