Academy 1:48 Bf 109E-3 “Heinz Bär” boxing
This was the first kit I built after a 4 year hiatus in model building. Its the Academy reboxing of the Hobbycraft kit, which at the same time looks very similar to the Hasegawa version.
The only trouble I had with this kit was that the tailplane´s struts were too long, so they had to be trimmed to get a good fit.

Well done, Francisco! I really like the "E"arly versions of the Bf109 series. Most seem the like the fat-nosed versions better, but not I! The early nose seems sleeker and more streamlined. To me.

The E is certainly better looking because of the lighter colours, the later RLM 74/75 ones make other aircraft more dull in comparison.
