  1. Nice clean build of an unusual subject. Was it really used on role until '72?!

    • Since neither radio nor blind flying equipment were available, the entire fleet had to be withdrawn in 1971. The leftover apparatuses were transferred to the Aero Club in Switzerland in 1972, where they are fitted with the new engines, as the Hirth engines have become susceptible to faults.

  2. that's awesome

  3. Nice work, Hans Peter!

  4. I like... Great job.

  5. As Greg stated, a nice clean build of an unusual subject.

  6. Very nice model made with excellent rigging

  7. Very clean aesthetics, brand spanking new look.
Did not know they existed. Very interesting.

The first picture looks like Snoopy with wings.

  8. Great looking Jungmann, Hans Peter. A great, if not common subject!

  9. Hans, that is a beauty! Perfect build and finish. I also like it b/c it is so unique.

  10. Nice work on this model. I had the pleasure of going flying in one of these 40 years ago at one of the Watsonville West Coast Antique Airplane fly-ins. The controls are feather-light and beautifully balanced, and when you snap it, you lose all sense of forward momentum, it rolls so tight. I can see why they kept it as a primary trainer so long - what a great introduction to flight that would be.

  11. Yes, with a plane is already an event and what nice that must have experienced
