  1. It may be the first, but I hope not the LAST! Your F-18 is gorgeous. I've never seen that scheme before and it's lovely!

    • It will not be the last because models in 1/48 have so much details. I love 1/48 scale models ? I didn't see it before too so that's why I done this scheme and the dambuster squadron is my favorit.

  2. Lovely model. And that is a striking scheme. Well done!

  9. Hello Jocelyn,

My compliments on the finish of this beautiful colored F-18C. What a joy to look at.

One comment, this particular F-18 needs assistance from another F-18, carrying the required (Laser) pods to get the guided (JDAM and the other big fellow) ammunition on target.

Besides that, I am (again) charmed of the colors.

Interesting is also the thermal and non thermal ammunition. This invention was started after the fire on board USS Forrestal 29-07-1967. (With at that time Lt. McCain USN on board)

The non thermal bombs on board Chippy have a faster "cook-off" time in case of fire.

    Regards,

    Dirk / The Netherlands.
