Model of the month August’18 (SE.5a)
Hello, iModelers!
My award kit for August has arrived yesterday. A big thanks to the jury and iModeler team for selecting my model. Many of the models in August were excellent, and to become a winner in such competition, makes me proud even more. I hope I Will deal with my new kit in the near future.
Thanks again, Igor

Igor, you should be very proud. And look at that nice clean bench…beautiful.
Craig Abrahamson said on October 4, 2018
Yes….congratulations – well deserved (and that bench is waaaay too clean)! 🙁
david leigh-smith said on October 4, 2018
No, Craig. Trust me, the bench is just how it should be.
Igor Prosen said on October 4, 2018
Yes, David. I prefer to keep the bench this way, but it is really tough.
Igor Prosen said on October 4, 2018
Don’t worry Craig, the bench was cleaned only for the photo session purpose. 🙂
Otherwise…. .
david leigh-smith said on October 4, 2018
Oh, please. Someone else must keep a genuinely tidy bench SOMEWHERE on this site. This really IS my desk during a real build. Any other neat freaks out there…

A place for every thing and every thing has it’s place! Sound’s like my father. Come on David, ease up a bit and act like a 12 year old at least once or twice a week. 🙂
Mine’s a mess at the moment with two builds going, but it will be cleaned up as soon as they are finished. Prim and Proper David.

Oh my, maybe that’s what caused the lack of mojo. I’m going to head over and clean the bench this evening. I might even find a kit laying there. 🙂

David, I try to keep my work bench at least this tidy !!

You see. Allan has the right idea. Nice and neat, tidy, everything in it’s place and no mess. Tools and equipment in lovely parallel lines…now, where’s my meds…

Great choice Igor. Agree with Craig, how do you find anything on your bench?
Igor Prosen said on October 4, 2018
Much easier, I’d say. 🙂

Congratulations Igor. Very well deserved and great choice. Looking forward to your build.

Congrats on the win and the selection. I’m looking forward to seeing it’s completion. Oh, and that Spad as well. 🙂

Thanks, Gary.

Your brave man Igor. I hate being in front of the camera. Looking forward to seeing the Meng kit done up right, Can’t say enough about the monster SE.5a and if you can do anything with the Spad like you’ve done with the SE.5a …you’d being in front of the camera again.
Two thumbs up.
Igor Prosen said on October 5, 2018
About that SPAD…it’s long gone. It was bought, built and given away as a gift more than 20 years ago. Only box remained, which I use as a small tool box ever since. Many years later, I built another one (Eduard), and I still own it.

Congratulations, Igor!
David @dirtylittlefokker, Igor is new here, so he is exempt from comment (even in fun like now), but how the he … ck are you supposed to get anything done with a workspace so clean?!!! My workspace tends to look rather like a disorganised wastebasket! (Which explains a LOT, I’m sure … LoL!)
david leigh-smith said on October 5, 2018
Jeff. I’m the first to admit I’m a nut when it comes to desk/bench organisation. The really crazy thing is just how disorganised the rest of my life is!
