May be on sabbatical from modelling – been having a few issues with my right eye (you know, my 1/72 eye…) and may have to rest it for awhile as something on the goggle sprue has become detached 😳 but will see how that pans out in the next few weeks.

  1. HA! Great photos, Rob. Best wishes regarding your 1/72nd eye!

  2. One of your best yet, Rob. Very best wishes.

  3. I caught that @Robbo, you are a sly one. 🙂 Being of the photographic nature, I treasure eyesight. Having lost almost 30% of my peripheral vision on my left side was very scary, but I’ve learned to adapt and move forward. Still bump into the occasional door jamb and the dogs have learned to move when I walk through the room. Hope all goes well with your recovery.

  4. Best wishes for a speedy recover Rob.

  5. I tried again and again to warn you about all that rigging, Rob. 🙁
Seriously, though – I hope everything turns out for the best. 🙂

  6. Well, just got back from Eye Clinic at hospital. Apparently issue is micro tear/bleed in vitreous lining, but won’t require laser surgery after all. I’ve had to swear to resign my commission in local Break Bricks with Head Karate Club and all should settle down in a few months. In meantime modelling OK within reason (Reason!?! Modelling!?!); so, less is more….

  7. Rob – adding you to the prayer list for quick and perfect recovery, so you can get back to God’s chosen scale (1/72 of course!).

  8. The old geezer on the motorbike is the coolest granddad ever, #2 is that the Hudson river by any chance ?
and as for #10…… I think the Nazi on the ground is thinking “Gott in Himmel, vot is zat shtrange lumpen on ze back off Klause’s leg, he has alvays been mine dreamboat but zat sink is puttink me right off.”
Thanks for another helping of camp Nazis Rob, sorry your eyeball is on the blink mate.

  9. Glad the eye is ok, Rob. I’d try and crack a joke but I can’t get much cornea than the guys above…

  10. Love the fishing lures. My late friend, Muz, would have loved that photo.
Glad to read that nothing major about your eye. You still have a good eye for the unusual, yet very interesting, images. Inspiring indeed.

Your ‘No Comment’ posts remind me of buying a regular newspaper/magazine; where we first peruse our favourite section.

  11. David @dirtylittlefokker, you see what Greg @gkittinger and Rob @robbo are doing here don’t you??? They are trying to say that we aren’t gentleman because we don’t perform in the “Chosen Scale”. Guess that makes us Outlaws! 😉

BTW Rob, that is excellent news!

  12. Great news Rob, look after yourself!
Love the Hudson River photo in particular.

  13. Clearly a fellow insomniac, Dave, I’ll add my heartfelt relief that all’s well, Rob,

  14. Cheers, guys, thanks for comments.
