Mitsubishi A6M2 – Zero; Tamiya, 1/48
This plane represents one of the 2nd wave that stroke Pearl Harbour, from the Akagi.
I scribed lots of panel lines and rivets so, at the end, did a heavy weathering to made those work pop.
After a break of almost 30 years, I have lots of old boxes waiting... In this particular case I was afraid of the decals, so I made some masks and used paint 😀
The model is ok but I did some 'improvements' (well...)
You've certainly done a good job with this collection of clearly demonstrating that "just because it's old doesn't mean it isn't good." Great wok on all these models.
Thank you, Sir. I must say that I stoped doing this back in 1990 and had a lot of old boxes on the basement. Returned December 2017 and so I'm doing (very) old kits.
