Excellent work indeed. A lot of aircraft kits of WWII subjects are bilateral. Having a right and left side for the fuselage. When in fact some fuselages were split horizontally. The P-40 and the P-47 come to mind. Here is a Warbird up date on a P-47 razor back that is being restored. It looks far more complex than say a P-51. Which may account for why the p-47 wasn't used in Korea.

Just a question: the red squares were a "no step" sign. They seem to be weathered as someone used them to climb on the plane. Am I wrong?
But that's irrelevant in face of the amazing work you did. By the way, is it straight from the box?
