1/700 scale diorama USS San Antonio LPD-17

Good day to all ,
First and foremost Happy New Year 2019 to all members of imodeler , we warm wishes I hope next year would prosperous for all of us !

This is my last post for 2018 , a 1/700 scale diorama of two US modern naval ships which are USS San Antonio LPD-17 and the escort Arleigh Burke class destroyer USS Fitzgerald DDG-62 , the diorama depicts the vessels in a so called training mode where the DDG-62 fires its tomahawk missile for a target exercise. The models are from Dragon models (LPD-17) and Fujimi (DDG-62). Both builds were all together a good fit with add-on PE parts. Since this was a commission built the tag was made with client's name on it, the base is made with modelling paste and Atlantic sea blue from AK Interactive.

Overall conclusion , I enjoyed making convoys of naval diorama gives you the sense of scale of each vessel and the functionality of each vessel in a real life convoy. Thanks for the time , as always more post to come in 2019 ! =)
