Grumman EA 6B Prowler

This aircraft belonged to the VAQ 133 WIZZARDS 2007 . It's a model. Cockpit of Aires in resin. It has been a difficult model to mount due to the large number of failures, bad connections, and a terrible instruction sheet. Attaching the cockpit to the fuselage took me many days of tests, sandpapers, and more tests. The painting process has also been very long, since the plane is quite large. I think the final result has been worth it.

  2. Agree with Craig, I think the end result is fantastic. That paint job is exquisite.

    ‘Liked’...lots.

  3. A real beauty! I plan on doing a similar build in 1/72 - love that desert camo on the Prowler. Well done.

  4. I'm with Greg, Lucas; the desert camo scheme is great and especially interesting. I've not seen a Navy aircraft in desert camo.

For all your troubles with the model, the end result is excellent and well worth it, I believe.

    Bravo!

  5. Buen resultado final y un camuflaje muy original.

  6. Well worth indeed Lucas! This is so much more interesting than the usual grey camouflage. I would rank your Prowler as a “Show Stopper” category. Thumbs up, and thanks for posting

  7. Well worth it! Great work.

  8. Well worth the extra effort. Great final result.

  9. Good work on the Prowler. It's good to see one of these, especially since they are no longer in-service, and have all gone to the Boneyard or museums. It's a shame to see the old Prowlers go. You did the old girl justice with your model.

  10. Hello Lucas,
Excellent result. Very impressive paint scheme. Looks to me it was worth all the trouble to get it constructed.
    The tow truck is from?
    Regards, Dirk

  11. thank you very much to all. The truth is that assembly and painting has been a great challenge. The desert scheme breaks with the camouflages in gray

  12. Good job, Lucas. Nice scheme!

  13. It came out nice in the end! I love the camo scheme, really cool.
