Zimmerit the first try (Revell’s Jagdpanzer IV)
Hi guys, today another heavy metal build for you! Revell‘s old Jagdpanzer IV early version kit #03024 (based on a Dragon kit from 1996)!
The build was quite simple, only a few things to modify! I‚ve changed the barrel trough a self turned alu barrel without the muzzle break, closed the pistol port on the left side and modifyed the gun mask! The Zimmerit coat is made with putty and the tamiya pe zimmerit tool, that was a messy job but i‘m very happy with the result!
The paint job was done with Vallejo acrylics and weathered with acrylic washes and pigments!
The kit is quite nice, a good model of the famouse „Guderian Duck“ even out of the box and no PE‘s!
That one looks fantastic, too! I have to repeat: matching colours and superb wheathering!
