  1. What a wonderful 190 ! I really like this one ... It's even painted in my favorite JG 54 summer time colors. I have posted a color picture showing the "Grunherz" emblem spray painted on the side of the FW fuselage as part of the camouflage pattern. If you look closely, it's just below the cockpit.


    During this time frame, there was an official document that was supposed to "discourage" the use of these unit emblems. So the members of JG 54 went about it in a different manner...and incorporated it into the camo pattern. Ingenious.

    Hope you enjoy these pictures... This next one shows them in the original manner before the document came out.
