Type 3 Chi-Nu (IBG 1/72)

February 26, 2019 · in Armor · · 21 · 2.5K

Just a small scale model of a WWII Japanese medium tank Type 3 Ch-Nu. Kit from Models (Poland) comes along nicely and it's a perfect fit for a weekend build. Also, if you play World of Tanks - you may see Chi-Nu there. Anyway, it was fun to build and try some new (for me) weathering techniques. Thanks for watching!

  1. Very nice! An interesting looking tank.

  2. What a great build!
Where did you get that extremely large matchstick πŸ™‚

  3. Dmitry, I can't believe its 1/72 scale. Looks bigger. Very well done, I really like the paint work. I couldn't help but notice the little machine gun mounted on top. When I was growing up, a neighbor of ours had one these, he brought it home from the PTO. (it had a metal rod welded into the barrel, making it unable to fire). We not only played war with it, he would bring it to our grade school once a year so his son could show it for "show and tell". I know it sounds nuts today, but we all thought it was cool !

  4. Excellent work on this scale - or any scale.

  5. It’s a small tank alright but it’s very nicely done. Very pleasing to eye. I played WoT for more than year until I got fed up, but the Chi-Nu was one of my favourite tanks there, the one I spent more time while in tier VI if memories serves me well. Thanks for posting

  6. Very well done, Dmitry!

  7. Thanks for fixing my mistake with a scale in the title πŸ™‚

  9. Beautiful paint and weathering work, especially for the scale. And the photography is top notch! Well done.

  10. This is an amazing build ! If you didn't include the scale in the description, I would have guessed it was much larger than it actually is. The build, the photography the weathering... everything is perfect.

    Well done my friend...
