Boeing 737 – 800, Air Explore, OM – HEX, Zvezda, 1/144
This is my latest finished model. It is Boeing 737 – 800 from Zvezda kit. Scale 1:144. Air Explore is a Slovak company. They are ACMI specialist. This means that they rent aircraft to other carriers along with the crew. Their fleet consists exclusively of Boeing 737 – 800 aircraft. Currently, they have six aircraft in the fleet. They have their base at the M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava, Slovakia.
I used a kit from Zvezda. The quality of the kit is very high. Precision parts with lots of detail. Variable winglet options. All parts fit exactly. The construction required minimal adjustments. I made the decals according to my own design by Handl Models Accesories.

If you could eliminate the shadowline between the background(-poster) and the "airfield", the illusion were perfect.

That build turned out rather well. The 737 is considered to be a Legacy aircraft with some of the first models nicknamed the Square Plane. Because, the wings and fuselage were close to being the same length. Much has change and Zvezda and your gifts and talents have gone a long way in making a striking model Ivan. Two thumbs up.

Thank you, Manuel! The finish of the model is a very complicated procedure. Includes dyeing, grinding, varnishing and polishing. I use special abrasives and polishes.
