1/72 Bristol Beaufighter TF.10.

This is the still new kit. The kit itself is superb, featuring solid engineering and great fit. I finished it straight from the box, including kit decals for 45 Squadron in Malaya during 1949. I did make seatbelts from painted Tamiya tape to dress up the cockpit and observer's seat a bit. This model required a tiny bit of Mr. Surfacer to blend the fin extension to the fuselage, but needed no other fillers anywhere. I painted it with Humbrol enamels, glossed with Future and brought it all together with a blast of Testors dull coat.

Another great new Airfix kit finished and on the shelf.

  7. I really like this kit myself, and you've done a great job with yours. I'd love it if Airfix would up-scale this to 1/48 like they did with the Blenheim.
