  1. Hi Bhandez!
Congratulations on your Spit. I must say I love the MK.V trop! (the colors seem a litle light, but that may be from the photos)
Just a question: I understood that by the end of 1941 every Spit had the TR9 radio replaced by the VHF TR 1133, so there must be no wire between the ruder and the mast. Was this a single case?
The IFF antena (from fuselage to tail tips) are a rarely seen detail, congratulations!

    • Hello Manuel, thank you for your detailed opinion! I mixed the colors myself so there can be some difference or maybe its the desert sun ?. Actually you might be right about the radio, I have just checked the database and found some Turkish and Russian versions with the wire but not an Egypt one. Thank you for letting me know.

  2. Lovely Spit! You have to love desert camo schemes...

  3. Gorgeous Spitfire. I especially love the dirty dusty tires!

  4. Thank you George! 🙂

  5. Excellent workmanship ! This is a beautiful Spitfire. There's just something special about a desert color scheme. Dark Earth, Middle Stone and Azure Blue...
