Fear the Bones – 1/72 F/A-18F Super Hornet, Jolly Rogers

Hi all! Finally finished, phew. This is Revells Super Hornet. This went together very well, I was quite surprised as I didn’t really have any issues apart from the odd filling here and there. Halfway though I decided I would put it on a base. So I carefully glued some 1200 grit wet and dry sandpaper to a piece of hardboard. I did sand this down a little to take the edge off. Then it was a trip to hobby craft where I bought some softwood and made a frame with a miter block. Then managed to get hold of a sheet of photo etch carrier tie down padeyes which I glued in place with super glue. I must say I have a thing about carrier based aircraft ready to kick the tyres and light the the fires. Have a good week end. Time for beer now. Haha
