IPMS- Military Modelers Club of Louisville Show

May 21, 2019 · in Show Reports · · 9 · 2.8K

After a stressful four weeks in North Carolina and at home I was able to travel down the Ohio River to attend the Louisville show. Lots of really nice models on the tables, 360+ to be exact. Here are some of the examples that caught my eye. Their theme this year was the 75th Anniversary of D-Day so lots of models represented that historical event. The green and white Ford station wagon had a copy of Hot Rod magazine on the seat, thought that was really neat. The Titanic was in the Youth Class and P-51 Diorama was outstanding. Some how, I managed a Silver for my P-51D and a Bronze for the P-40N.

This article slipped under my radar. I just noticed it.

Excellent show report my friend ! Congrats on the awards... Your planes look fantastic. Those "patent pending" bases you have them displayed on are like icing on the cake. One of these days... maybe when I find a poster with a mountain scene to use as a photography back drop. 🙂
