Lavochkin La-250 Anakonda, Anigrand 1/144
The Lavochkin La-250 Anakonda is one of three bonus kits in Anigrand‘s offering of the M-50 Bounder in 1/144, a short-run resin kit from Hongkong. This is an older project that I completed allmost 10 years ago. In fact, it was the first resin kit that I have finished. Anigrand’s casting quality improved over time but this was their second kit on the market with some air bubbles present – lot of rework required. I removed all panel lines on the aircraft nose to better match the real plane and also thinned the landing gear doors. I also left away the dummy missiles, the plane looks better to me without (and I saved effort). The La-250 was airbrushed with Revell 90, all other colors (not many) were applied with a brush.

The 1€ coin gives us a fast mental proportion as to the kit small size, and I believe the real thing must have been big. Now imagine that Mig-15 size… good work on a ve4y exotique kit and subjec

Brilliant, Anigrand again! 🙂 Nice photos of very unusual subject. As it has beed said already – the side-by-side comparison with MiG-15 makes a big impression. Keep ’em coming please!
