Mirage F1 AZ 1/32 Scale, Scratch Build. Part 3
Some feed back for those of you that might be following this build,
I have finished the molds as per the last post, and I started vacuum forming this week end, with the fuselage being so long, I molded each side of the fuselage in 3 pieces, then I did the nose section. No major issues were encountered and I started to join the fuselage sections, and added ribs for strength.
I will be starting with the detail in the nose section of the aircraft, with the cockpit detail and nose wheel well next. Then the main wheel wells and main undercarriage will follow.
I am planning to do a lot of internal detail, so I don’t expect to be joining the fuselage halves for quite some time.
Stay tuned, I think things are going to get really interesting.
As always, If you guy’s want a more detailed description, give me a shout, and I will be more than willing to help.
Hope you like the progress so far,
Cheers
Marc

This project separates the builders from the craftsmen. You sir have some special skills…………Thanks for sharing this with us.
